Cursed Castilla is a very worthy successor to Ghosts & Goblins! It's much more fair difficulty-wise, much more interesting story-wise, and fits perfectly into that era of video games with its art style. If you're interested in a Ghosts & Goblines like game, look no further.. I recommend to buy this game while on a discount.As far as I know there's a free version, but I got this one through Humble Bundle, and to be honest, it's a pretty good game, controls perfectly, feels fair every time I die (Even if it was frustrating and times, I could crearly understand why I died and how to proceed).It's a very short game, that's why I recommend it on sale, it adds replayability through collecting some items and speedrunning.. A polished and well-designed homage to Ghouls N Ghosts. I loved it.. Old school game with a ghost n goblins feel ,pretty good if you like those kinds of games , offers a fair and tough challenge too. Even though I got the bad ending this game is a really good Ghouls N Ghosts type game (jumping mechanics included) - although not nearly as difficult. But it is still a very challenging but fair game, with lots of cool bosses to fight as well. Unlike Volgar the Viking, if you die you get to start back at the stage you were on too which I like. I especially liked the Sega Genesis/Technosoft soundtrack too.This game has the Ninja Gaiden kickback type thing when you get hit which can be annoying at times and will cause lots of deaths later on, (thankfully it's not nearly as hard as that game either), and the jumping is also similar too, (as in if you're jumping forward and try to go back you'll hardly move). I only wish that after beating the game you could go back to previous levels as needed or if you have to start a new game at least introduce an easy mode to encourage more playthroughs and to get the good ending.. Didn't expect I'd like this as much as I do
